The high-performance Nylon Recovery Strap from US Cargo Control provides durable and reliable usage when rescuing vehicles from all types of terrain. Often referred to as tow straps or truck tow straps, we recommend using recovery straps within their respective limits for safe pulling. Each tactical tow strap is made with high quality Class 7 yellow nylon webbing that stretches 8-10% of the rated capacity, more than polyester, that helps "snap" the vehicle unstuck and take some of the shock out of the initial pull. Besides having more elastic properties than polyester, nylon tow straps with loops are also more abrasion resistant and handle wear and tear more easily to help extend the working life of these straps. Made with a 2:1 design factor and boasting a break strength of 24,000 lbs. and a working load limit of 12,000 lbs., this 4x4 recovery strap can rescue your ATV, UTV, car, or other lightweight vehicle. The two sewn loops found on the ends of the tow eye strap make for easy attachment to shackles or for choke strapping. Be sure that the break strength of your shackle is higher than that of the 4x4 strap and that the offroad tow strap is secured to the frame of the vehicle.
