TEATIME is Philippe Starck's new tray, which plays with references to crocheted openwork applied to the new high-tech sustainable material. Available in gold, bronze, chrome and pink.
Kartell is using recycled PMMA in its transparent productions for the first time. Teatime is the first product made from this material, which originates largely from the depolymerization of plastic waste from various sources. This material retains aesthetic quality and structural requirements comparable to pure new material; this project makes it possible to give industrial plastic waste a new lease of life and turn it into new products that will stand the test of time and become design icons.
